Microsoft CodeView is a full-featured debugger that is designed for 16-bit Real-mode programs. There is a learning curve, but you can begin using it right away with just a few simple commands.

If your copy of Irvine's book is earlier than the Third printing, you should download the CodeView 4.10 Update patch from this Web page. Click here to find out which printing you have.
